Welcome to Weekly Round-Up No. 50! This week we feature debut releases by Timothy, Little Church and Chase The Horseman. And we review new singles by Oceanic Memory and Herr Alt. Enjoy the music!
Timothy – Dust
Singer-songwriter Timothy has a beautiful, warm voice and needs little support to be enticing. With only acoustic guitar and some percussive drums he convinces on “Dust”, a delicate pop ballad.
Little Church – Queen
New Chicago art rock band Little Church released their “Volume 1” debut EP this week. The band combine psychedelic rock and soul, with incredible dynamics in their songs. “Queen” is our favourite song of the EP, raw and tender at the same time.
Oceanic Memory – Past-Time
French band Oceanic Memory return with a new single “Past-Time” It’s an accessible and groovy poprock song that immediately catches your attention and your body movements!
Herr Alt – Monologue
When a singer-songwriter grabs his guitar and some electronic devices, and combines them with flair and attitude, you get the awesome, groovy indietronica from Dutchman Herr Alt. His new single “Monologue” breathes the experimental indie dance of YACHT, !!! and Liars.
Chase The Horseman – RIPchord
Melancholic, sad indierock about a tiresome relationship balancing between doubt and commitment. Kansas City singer-songwriter Chase The Horseman knows how to strike a chord on his debut single “RIPchord”.
