Welcome to Weekly Round-Up No. 16! This week we feature debut releases by Paper Hawk, Ryan Pollie and 70 Mile House. Enjoy the music!
Ryan Pollie – Blackout
Ex-Los Angeles Police Department Ryan Pollie now debuts under his own name. He delivers a slow, orchestral, rock song about substance abuse, that was inspired by 70s singer-songwriters. “Blackout” has a truly coming-down, dubby vibe.
70 Mile House – Wintersleep
Classic anthemic rock from new Dutch rock band 70 Mile House. They debut with “Wintersleep”, a poprock song with clever tempo changes and a catchy chorus.
Paper Hawk – Trails
Debut by singer-songwriter duo Paper Hawke from Brighton, UK is a beautiful calm indiefolk song with ethereal ambient textures. Debut EP “The Tide” is out May 2nd.
