Weekly Round-Up 51

Welcome to Weekly Round-Up No. 51! This week we feature debut releases by Blushing and Sweetsalt. Enjoy the music!

Blushing – Tether

We at Indie Pop-Ups just love dreamy pop songs! This week we introduce Austin, Texas band Blushing. “Tether” is the title track of their forthcoming EP (out on January 13th 2107). And it is a classic! A perfect melancholic dreampop song with heavenly vocals, slow jangly and hazy guitars combined with parts of a harder shoegaze wall of sound. And at the same time being catchy. Awesome!

Sweetsalt – Synchrone

The young Belgian band Sweetsalt debuts with a classic and mature sounding progressive rock song, which is remarkable concerning the average age of the band members being only 17!! “Synchrone” sounds straight from the 70’s, the heyday of progressive rock. Epic guitars, tempo changes and perfect breakdowns. Furthermore, the band adds a dreamy atmosphere, making great use of singer Mare Verbeiren’s vocals. Amazing first single.
