Weekly Round-Up 13

Welcome to weekly round-up No. 13. This week we feature debut singles by Temptate, UP, FABRICSJesiah and the second single from Mullally. Enjoy the music!

Temptate – Faith

TemptateNot much is known about newcomers Temptate from Sweden. Their debut track is a beautiful mellow song which could well have been created in the 90s: it’s nostalgic sound is somewhere between downtempo and electropop. It has a certain romanticism to it, just as the abstract artwork on their Instagram page has. Another great Swedish song to be heard, from a Swedish artist to be watched!

UP – Introversion

UPMartin Wagdin & Robert Veater from Essex, UK form new music duo UP. Their debut is uptempo new wave electropop. What’s remarkable that they combine their melancholic vocals with an euphoric 90s rave synth sound, which works amazingly well!

FABRICS – Beachhead

FABRICSAnother debut from the UK! FABRICS are four guys making irresistible indierock. With catchy hooks, jangly guitars and a driving bass they have a sound familiar to Two Door Cinema Club and Foals. It’ll make you move and sing along! “Hey hey hey!”

Jesiah – Walls

JesiahJesiah is a producer and songwriter from Portland, USA. The song “Walls” is his official debut, but he’s been around much longer! For example, he is co-writer of the modern indiepop classic “Cool Kids” by Echosmith. The sound of “Walls” has the same vibe: a great summer sing-along poprock anthem!

Mullally – Troubled Love

MullallyMullally is a singer-songwriter from the UK. He’s only 19-year old, but a rising indiepop talent. His second sinhle “Troubled Love” is more prove of it! The song is nothing less than pure soul music, mostly thanks to his falsetto vocals. But it is soul with an updated electronic sound and crisp & clear production. Very impressive!
